Vanessa Linn Hillis, CAPM, MPAff

Vanessa is the CEO and founder of They Them Consulting. Vanessa identifies as Transgender Non-binary, and uses they/them/theirs pronouns. They’ve always valued their own abilities and skills, but it took coming out as transgender to realize the value they place on their personal identity as well. As a vocally out trans consultant, working in business, healthcare, and finance, they recognized a need for more explicitly inclusive partnerships. They Them Consulting was conceived to be more than a business services firm. Vanessa’s vision is to create a safe and inclusive environment for consultants and clients, where productivity and results come without compromising the respect for ones personal identity.

Vanessa lives East of Austin, TX with their toddler and spouse where they enjoy reading, watching movies, and hiking. They earned their Master’s Degree in Public Affairs from the University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School, their Bachelor’s degree from Austin College, and their Project Management certification from the Project Management Institute.
